Using the site

You may read, print and share anything on this site for your own use. You may not republish our written content as your own, or copy the design and code of this site for a commercial project. If you want to quote something, quote it and link back.

What is on the site

We try hard to keep everything here accurate, but the site is provided for information. Nothing on it is legal, financial or compliance advice, and nothing on it forms a contract. Articles about regulation are plain-English summaries written by people who build websites, not solicitors, and they say so. Check anything that matters with your own professional advisor.

Prices

Prices shown on this site are genuine and are the same figures that appear in our proposals. They exclude VAT where applicable, and they assume a project of the shape described. Anything outside that is quoted in writing before work starts. A published price is not a binding offer until it appears in a proposal we have sent you.

Concept work

Projects on this site marked Concept are self-initiated pieces made in the studio. No client commissioned them, none of those brands exist, and nothing on those pages should be read as a claim of a working relationship. Projects marked Client are real commissioned work.

The free Diagnosis

The Diagnosis is offered free and without obligation. It is our opinion, formed by looking at your website from the outside, and it is not a guarantee of any outcome. Where we point out something that may be a regulatory issue, that is a prompt to check with your own advisor and not a legal opinion. If we carry out a small fix at no cost, we do so with your permission and we do not take on liability for the wider site.

Links out

We link to other websites where they are useful. We do not control them and we are not responsible for what they say or do.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from use of this website. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, this does not affect your statutory rights.

Work we carry out for clients is governed by a separate written services agreement, which takes precedence over anything on this page.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
